We do our best to match you with qualified service providers, but we are not liable for damages, delays, or dissatisfaction with third-party contractors. Our job is to make the process seamless, safe, and efficient.
Booking a service means you understand and accept these terms.
Call a Daddy™ Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 4, 2025
Welcome to Call a Daddy™ (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By contacting us through our website, phone, or any other platform, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Our Role
Call a Daddy™ is a lead generation and referral service. We connect homeowners and property owners (“you,” “your”) with independent, vetted local contractors (“Daddies”).
We do not:
Perform handyman work ourselves
Set prices or provide quotes
Handle scheduling or payment for the work itself
All services are provided solely by independent contractors, who are responsible for their own work quality, materials, pricing, scheduling, and outcomes.
2. Quotes & Payment
Any quotes, estimates, or pricing will be provided directly by the independent contractor.
Payment for services is made directly to the contractor, under the terms they set with you. Call a Daddy™ does not process or handle service payments.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel, change, or reschedule a job, you must contact your assigned contractor directly at the phone number they provide.
4. Contractor Standards
We expect all Trusted Daddies to:
Arrive on time or communicate delays promptly
Complete work to professional standards
Maintain a clean, respectful job site
Communicate clearly about timelines, costs, and materials
5. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate project details when requesting a connection
Ensure safe, legal access to the work area
Keep pets and children away from hazardous work zones
Communicate directly with your assigned contractor regarding scheduling, payment, and project details
6. Liability Disclaimer
Call a Daddy™ is not responsible for:
Any damages or losses caused by contractor work
Delays due to weather, supply issues, or other unforeseen conditions
Injuries sustained on your property during contractor work (contractors are required to carry their own insurance)
Your agreement for services is solely with the independent contractor you hire.
7. Dispute Resolution
If an issue arises, contact your assigned contractor directly. If you would like us to be aware of the issue for quality control purposes, you may notify us at hello@calladaddy.com within 48 hours of service completion. However, Call a Daddy™ is not responsible for resolving disputes between you and the contractor.
8. sMS & Email Consent
By providing your phone number and/or email address when using Call a Daddy™, you agree to receive communications related to your request, account, or services.
SMS Messaging: You may receive text messages (including recurring messages) regarding service confirmations, handyman job alerts, scheduling updates, and customer support. Msg&Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.
Email Messaging: You may also receive email updates related to your service or account. Marketing emails will only be sent if you provide separate opt-in consent. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in the footer.
Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance.
